So, I bought some red stuff from the dealer a month ago...opened up my radiator...yep! Bright, clear green! So, I'm just going to stay with the green stuff...hopefully some of you are using red and would like to buy two jugs from me for 1/2 price? s***, damn and hell-fire!

The 50/50 is Toyota pink for newer vehicles

Well, my '97 is "newer" than your '96! I believe it is straight red...I'll take a look when I get home...whenever that may be...

Chad, you may want to think about this one.....the green stuff is not good for the head gaskets.....
You may want to swap it out....do some more research before you give the red stuff away. There is a reason that it is so expensive....

The only difference is the silicone additive to make it coagulate and of course the red color

Thanks, Guys, the reason I'm sticking with the green is this: CruiserDan and I were talking while getting my parts order together and when I told him I had a replacement aftermarket radiator with bright, clear green antifreeze in it...he told me not to flush it and not to go back to red. First and foremost reason being that if you blow a hose or otherwise lose coolant, you can buy the green stuff at WalMart at 3am on a Sunday. If you're running red...you can't mix it and you probably are a day or more away from a dealer's supply of red stuff.
