another visitor message question

I use it alot. How can I send a message w/o going to the persons page, then have to check his/her page to see if they responded?

Want to originate from my profile page. I know it is a simple answer.

click 'view conversation' if you are chatting back-forth with someone...

new conversations must start on that person's profile
