bump. got some serious clutch questions and need some knowledge.

Hey scab, first off, let me say welcome! That is a gorgeous truck. In fact, I think that model may have just traveled upward on my "want" list. As for mechanical help, I'm a moderately decent mechanic, but I have never worked on one of those, much less the clutch assembly. I know some guys on here have dealt with Cruiser Corps in OKC if you're willing to spend some money on it. Otherwise, I'm sure I, and probably some other wrenchers on here, would be willing to try to help as best we can.

Josh at Cruiser Corps would be a resource. Will forward link to, since I don't know how much exposure you'll get here.

Have a local buddy the restores various TLCs with a mechanic that's in the know, too. If interested in contacting, PM you info and I'll pass along.

My best advice would be to get rid of it. Iron pigs are over rated. You should drop it off at 11928 N. 108 E. Ave and walk away. Oh, and I might have grown up in the back of one from age 7-16 in Wyoming. Ours was red and white. That one looks pretty clean.

As far as fun, how about pizza this Thursday?

Did this happen? Is there any way to find out about these without being on the yahoo group?

It's first thursday of every month I think. I missed this week's. Join the yahoo group. It's pretty low volume so you're not baraged with a bunch of junk email. Group is more used to posting stuff there than here, I was trying to keep a calender here, but through a truck fire and a job change and a truck sale I stopped frequenting.

How do I get more involved with GC Cruisers? How often do you guys meet? Where do you go offroading around the Tulsa area?

Anyone that wants to come to a GCC get together is welcome. We typically meet the first Thursday of each month and usually at Mario's pizza in BA (Elm & Kenosha). Next one will be Feb 7 @ 7 PM or so.

Hope to see you there.

Sure

You will need a Yahoo ID if you do not have one. You do not need a Yahoo email - any email will work.

Go to groups.yahoo.com

Type greencountrycruisers in (all one word)

Request to join with a brief statement about wanting to join. Just say you are in OK and have a Toyota 4x4 and want to participate. Our Administrator will approve you when he gets the message.

All messages will come in with [GCC] at the start of the subject. I made a folder in Outlook Express and set a rule that any [GCC] messages go there.

Like Heath said, there is not alot of emails.

PM me if you have any questions.

They have an email notification that I've not figured out how to subscribe too.

Disney Rocks Feb 9-10

Edited: Pretty sure the Cruiser you posted in classifieds passed me on 169 northbound yesterday or day before.

I'm hard to miss and in South Tulsa, too

Okay - I've seen your rig around the 101st area a few times, I'm usually in the black FZJ80 (all stock daily driver). Yeah, I decided to go ahead and keep the rig that I posted, we call it Donkey... I didn't like seeing other guys pawing her, I just felt dirty and empty inside. She gets out and about once or twice a week. We'll have to catch up sometime soon.
