Another LED Headlight qestion - yep was looking at some UNI-SHINE LED headlights on Amazon that kind of remind me of what City Racer was selling until they ran out of stock. Anyone had any experience with this brand of LED light on your 45?

Thanks

I have a set of Morimoto LED's on mine. I have NOT driven it at night or aimed them. I can tell you from just test firing them in the garage they have a great cutoff line. I have tried Hella h4's in the past. They were not much better than halogen headlights. I even tried the LED insert bulbs. No real change other than LED.
I wanted newer tech in lighting with a crisp line and clean light similar to what i have in the "newer" Toyota's in the fleet.. My Prius has great "projectors" with HID light bulbs installed, clean, white, distinct line. the I wanted something similar. IF they suck, i can go back to Hella H4's or stock Toyota H4's.
I do not recall paying this much cause i know I'm cheap! Pretty sure i purchased a previous 1.0 version on clearance.
Look like this
I can try and back the 45 out and aim them and take a few pictures this week. It is starting to get darker earlier now. I am curious how they compare to the Prius.. And need to aim them regardless after putting together the headlight buckets.
I imagine with the newer technology things are constantly improving.

Hey long time, :)
Well one of my old LED made in China headlamps ($70 set) died the other day so I am round filing the set, and glad too as they were not that grate anyway.
In my quest to update I came across these and yes I am cheap also when it comes to a crap shoot on the hundreds of LED lights on the market today. Only reason I am really focused on theses is they are suppose () to have a much better light pattern than the round eye styles. I had a set similar to the type you are showing on my Ford Bronco but the pattern was just horrible but the light brightness was okay. I think I am going to pull the trigger and give them a try if they do not pan out Amazon seems to be good for returns.
Thanks for the info and let me know what you think of the ones you have, never know.
I will post my finding on theses when I can.

Cheers
