last time i did body work was in highschool on my rabbit gti... can you comment on the severity of this rust on a 60 i'm lookin at for a friend?
i think this is the worst spot, funny place to have this hole, maybe from the gutter leaking down
the frame and undercarriage are in really good shape, just surface rust...
whaddya think? grinder/wire brush the inside door frame rust and just paint over? at least it''ll be inside the door. entire back window can be done to colour match, and maybe the bubbles on the roof just colour matched as best as one can...say if it was to be an economical fix? just not sure how deep that rust is and if some parts are a straight hole through the gutter?
any tips or comments from anyone greatly appreciated.
