another front bumper

well heres my design, its half finished and i will hopefully get it mounted tomorrow night. eventually i will build one for the rear with a tyre carrier, but for now this is it.

its made from 6mm steel which works out at about 1/5" for you guys, the front is all one piece that was half cut and bent with the cuts welded back up.

i just have to finish the wings drill bolt holes then weld it all up.

there was a BFH used for fine tuning but i actually put it in a vice and hung off it till it got to the right angle. sorry about the bad photos my camera is gettin old.

for clarification the wings were bent from the one piece the bottom bit that sits at a 45 degree angle is a separate piece.

i can give basic designs for anyone who want them its a rather simple bumper. i just gotta go finish it now.

Mots lights finally have a home

i finally got my bumper finished this arvo its been bolted up for about a month now but i hadn't completely finished it and i hadn't mounted the lights but its finally done.

i gotta say i'm happy with it except i now need to upgrade the front springs to cope with the weight.
