Another ACE Question

Curious about this ACE paint. I had an issue yesterday where the tub I had painted got some water on the floor. The tarp I had over it filled with water and set on the surface. Water came through. The areas that got wet competely changed color. Kind of faded and became hazy. It stayed like this even when it dried. Is that because I did not polish and wax it yet? Does that mean that water went all the way down to the metal?

Still no runs with an HVLP but concerned over hardness and durability.

It could be that the water mixed with the paint, diluted it enough for a "hazy" look and then dried that way. I'd just touch it up with a brush and I think you'll be fine.

My concern is, how did this happen. The paint was over a couple of weeks old. Is it because it was not waxed, ie. protected. If this is the coating on the vehicle it is going to get wet constantly.

I'm curious if you used a hardener? If not, I've heard horror stories about this paint literally taking weeks to dry and even then still being very soft if no hardener is added.
