Seeking higher vistas
Colorado Springs Christian 4Wheelers (CSC4W) and Focus on the Forest (Woodland Park) are hosting an annual cleanup on Old Stage Road and FS Road 379 (Frosty Park) and FS Road 379A (Mt. Baldy, aka South Almagre Mountain) on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
@twbland , J Flora, and I participated last year. There were people there from CSC4W, Colorado 4Wheelers, and Bighorn 4x4 Club; we filled a couple of trailers full of trash!
Volunteers can meet at St. Paul Catholic Church (behind the Broadmoor) Map Link 9 El Pomar Road EDIT: 8am Saturday morning
Jimmy John's is donating a box lunch for each volunteer. Wal-Mart donates bottled water for volunteers. Of course, bring your own drinking water and snacks/lunch if you desire. Dress appropriately for sun and heat, plus work pants, boots, and gloves.
I'm planning to participate, so post here if you think you can make it, too!
