Date: 04/20/2010 BLUERIBBON COALITION LANDUSE UPDATE!

Dear BRC Action Alert Subscriber,

The Director of the Bureau of Land Management and the Chief of the U.S. Forest Service will be in Boise, Idaho, on Saturday, May 1, 2010, as keynote speakers for a conference on public land issues. The conference - Life in the West: People, Land, Water and Wildlife in a Changing Economy - will be held in the Boise State University Student Union. The conference will be hosted by the Andrus Center for Public Policy and co-sponsored by the Foundation for Rocky Mountain Elk and the Idaho Statesman.

Former Secretary of the Interior and Idaho Governor Cecil D. Andrus, chairman of the Andrus Center for Public Policy, said that the one-day event will allow Idahoans and others in the West to hear directly about the agency's agendas from BLM Director Bob Abbey and Forest Service Chief Tom Tidwell.

Registration is required for the conference. Early registration is required by April 23, with final registration by April 28, 2010, and can be done online at www.andruscenter.org. Conference information and agenda are also available on the center's website at www.andruscenter.org/events_pgs/events-litw.html.

Thanks in advance for your support,

Ric Foster
