Alternatives to factory side moldings (3 Viewers)

I have a 2005 LC and was recently giving it some long overdue attention with a polish and ceramic coat. The discoloration of the side moldings has bothered me for some time. I contacted the stealer and they want over $2K for new ones....WTF. Anyway, I removed the factory moldings and am liking the cleaner look. Has anyone found an alternative molding or a way to cover the mounting squares?

I've seen people repaint them with a quality 2k automotive spray paint.

How'd you get them off? Do they just pry off?

2k is far too much. I ordered a complete OEM 10 piece set from Impex for 70,000 yen shipped.

3M wrap each piece of molding made a huge improvement on my 100. I went with a darker grey than the original oem color.
