On June 14, 2013, the Bureau of Land Management in Alaska published a Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare a Resource Management Plan and associated Environmental Impact Statement (RMP/EIS) for the Central Yukon Planning Area. The Central Yukon Resource Management Plan will replace the existing Utility Corridor RMP, Central Yukon RMP, and part of the Southwest Management Framework Plan. Additionally, the plan will cover lands in the Fairbanks North Star Borough not currently under an existing plan.
