This is probably a compatibility answer, but why is the Dobinson and Ironman 4x4 coil conversion/air bag delete kits $300+, when the ICON & MetalTech conversion kits are less than $100? I can see the lack of parts in the ICON/Metaltech kits are clearly a part of it.. but what am I missing here? Are we not just providing a base on the rear axle for coils to sit on...? I'm very uneducated on this, and would like to be enlightened.

The Ironman kit is threaded and allows for around 1-1.5" of up-and-down adjustment. It's a nice feature to level out your ride, or allow you to gain more lift in the back. The other kits are non-adjustable so the only way to change the ride height is to add coil spacers or swap the springs.

FYI the Ironman kit can be a pretty good deal if you get it bundled with a lift kit. It is kind of pricey a la carte.

Okay that makes sense. Usually the 40mm spacer is about $40 from most retailers, so I think I'll go that route because it's still cheaper. Thanks for this though man!
