Do you know (or anyone) if the LX pump will work for a GX470?
I have been trying to get this part to resurrect the ACH system on my 08 GX470 sport, but everything I see is for the LX or the 550.
Part numbers seem to have changed twice from what I can tell.
48910-60010: Original # I think
48910-60012: Updated # I think
48910-60032: Updated again & GX550?.
Any help figuring this out and/or finding the correct assembly would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Not entirely sure, but I believe the LX is hydraulic adjustable height control, while the GX is air suspension. GX has a compressor for the bags, and then electronic shocks. I don’t think the LX has an air compressor.

You might be right. I’ve been getting mixed up with the LX470 all along. There is a big space open on the passenger side firewall where something was? That would be great if you’re right.

The air compressor on a GX is under the vehicle, behind the rear axle, in the spare tire area. If your rear air suspension is not working, it's typically due to the bags becoming dry rotted and leaking air. However, other parts associated with the compressor (the compressor itself and the lines) or the height sensors can also have problems. Most folks do a conversion to coil springs and delete the air ride system (myself included). The air suspension is certainly nice, but I have yet to miss it in 2 years of running coils.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been looking for a non-existent part for a month. I have new bags and the dealer said all the other parts appear to be working so I’m going to give it a shot.
