Im not sure how to go about doing this, my truck needs to be put in gear when I turn it off on any degree of slope or it will roll away the ebrake does not seem to very useful anymore. Seems to me that I some how need to increase the tension on the ebrake cable, how does one do this?
Or should I just take it to the stealership and see if they will fix it under warrenty (as they should).

Two ways:

from the lever itself (must pull out center console...no biggie).

The better way is through the adjustment holes on the rear hub.

Most dealers should do it as a coutesy if you have low miles because of "break in stretch".

Should be easy since the rears are Disc not like the PITA drums of days gone by.
