Hit the trail with this ready-to-go overlanding/camping outfit. This is designed for a 100 Series Land Cruiser or LX470 although it may fit other vehicles. I have a trailer now and no longer use these items.
Air Down Gear Up (ADGU) Platform (Model SS1) for 100 Series Land Cruiser or LX470.
This was a DIY kit that is fully built and nicely finished. It is made of baltic birch (not cheap plywood) and has turnbuckles to secure it to the vehicle tie-down points. It's very solid.
I modified it to allow use of one of middle row seats but I have the parts to convert it back to full width if you like.
Included are two sets of extruded aluminum legs (short and tall). The tall legs allow you to leave the middle seats in place. The short legs give you more headroom, but you have to remove the middle row seats. Either way, the platform folds up into the rear of the vehicle allowing you to carry more passengers or gear.
The main part of the platform is 48" wide and has two hinged wings that add approximately 4" to each side for a total of 56". The overall length is 71".
Included are two straight wall shipping containers to use as drawers, insulated window shades, window screens, and a tailgate tent. The platform can be used without the tent, but it gives you more room and ventilation.
$500 for the platform, drawers, window shades and tent.

Dometic CFX-40 electric cooler with a Dometic insulated cover. This includes a slide mount for Refrigerator (Dometic CFX-SLD3540) that mounts to the platform. Clean and works well. $400
