Got this fault after washing the car and tyres/brakes. Maybe the sensor is off.
I have all the lights in the dash. Tried to delete them but comes back on after the car moves.

I bought the sensor itself (wheel speed sensor right side front) w/o the wire harness(expensive)
im tried just to remove the wheel speed sensor under the hub..half got stuck inside of the hub...so i need to do more..

Its so much hassle to change this cuz i have to take off the whole Hub and the main bolts are bad to unscrew. Any tips? Just put it to a profesional and get the whole wire harness and sensor?from toyota?

Mine failed when it got coated In Grease from a failed rear wheel bearing.
I also bought the full harness but never installed it as the wheel bearing Replacement fixed issue.
I did install a new speed sensor and that only fixed problem for a few miles.

I see. Hope you follow up the issue more then? will you innstall it?The harness i mean.

I actually also have some kind of metal ring around the hub that is loose, its like 2 mm thick and loose. I can see it very clearly cause its just a couple of centimeters from the sensor bracket.

The harness is in my parts box. If you really think that is the issue I'm happy to pass on to you for cost (I got it off ebay in used like new condition). You may have a blown wheel bearing, but a tree branch can take out the speed sensor if hit just right.

front right. I have a europe version LC200 4.5 Diesel.2008 model. Its LHD.(left drive)
The small thin metal ring could be the reason for this fault? its plausible cause its the one thing thats wrong inside there.
I bought the new sensor, but its difficult to fix this myself and change and take the whole hub out of the car myself. The bolts are so old and little rust so the pins that holds the bots to the front suspension (4 bolts or 5) they are difficult to get to.

Ah. Mine failed on rear wheel bearing. I have had the front hubs off to replace the front wheel bearings but that does require a larger socket for the hub nut. As well as pulling the brakes and hub.

yes it requires a 39 mm for the hub nut. I have the service manual download that i bought off ebay.
Did you try to loose the hub CAP?
