Hi All,

my 85 62 swerves fiercly to the right once i hit the brakes. Im planning to check my brakes as ive had to re-fill my brake fluid twice in the past month so i knw something's leaking.
Swerving to the right means theres something wrong on the left side, right ?? (:grinpimp:
Does anyone have any idea what i should look for ??
Thx

you left calper is stuck mine did the same thing replace both calipers and be done with it also ck the rear wheel cyl there more likely to leak

It could also be your right caliper doing the sticking and it will be generating alot of heat. Either that or your left caliper is stuck out and not making contact. See if the right side is real hot. Be careful of the heat it can get real hot. I had a caliper sticking on another vehicle (right) and it pulled right when applying the brakes. You could also smell the pad burning.

Swerving hard to the right might mean you have brake fluid on the right pads causing them to grab really hard. The fluid may not be acting as a lubricant.

Could be a bad wheel cylinder on the left, but I ran into the problem above on a jeep. Kept focusing on the weak side, but the problem was created by fluid on the shoes of the strong side. Would cause one wheel to lock up on dirt, while the other kept rolling.
