A Car Too Far (Discovery)

Saw that a show was starting this past weekend called A Car Too Far...premise is two guys travel the world without any help in a Jeep. One is a survival expert and the other is a mechanical McGyver who four wheels. I recorded it and have not watched it yet but might be okay if really.....original and not too scripted...and the fact they are in J**P and not Land Cruiser.

Pretty cool show, I found it entertaining. A little too much staged drama though. But being able to see some cool wheeling on tv is always a win.

And I've never been to Chile but that environment doesn't look like south America. When crossing the river I see several pine trees. Doesn't seem like the vegetation you'd see in a tropical rain forest. Did anybody else catch that?

it wasnt bad....some things I thought were staged to show what COULD BE DONE like finding four trimmed logs under water to use to cross a deep creek.....

survival dude is not bad...and driver not bad but neither are doing things that I thought were eye opening...but wont stop watching yet...we will see how it goes next couple episodes. it is entertaining but maybe more for people that dont offroad or go out in bush alone.....rather than some that camp, hunt, offroad all the time in austere conditions. Yeah I dont go to South America but they only have to make it 3 days...and is time to complete the trip...I dont know...it was okay but the driver was a bit of a whiny bitch to me...always hungry, scared of bugs, gets sweaty and tired easy, and cant steer his Jeep...just kidding about steering jeep.... etc. Kind of like one of our members....hahahahahaha
