Recently came up with a CEL on 200K on my '99. Diagnosed at auto parts store, P0308. Just bought new stock Denso plugs (OEM) and fuel filter, but obligations postponed installation.
Some reason, return trip home eliminated the CEL and it was running fine. Purchased a new coil pack (OEM Denso through Amazon, cheapest one I found) and spent a couple of beers and an afternoon replacing all the plugs, #8 coil pack (kept the old one as a spare, not sure that was the issue; could not get CEL again (?)), and the fuel filter. Running like a champ again.
While the cover was off, noticed the dreaded heater core tees, looking like will replace those soon. Getting ready to order the parts. Just replaced the radiator earlier this year, guess it's the time to get some maintenance issues done/part replaced.
Also, noticed quite a few have replaced the corner lamps with clear lenses. How do you like them?
