98100 Locked Axle swap to 99 LX470

Hey guys,

About to swap my totaled 98's locked rear axle, ECUs, etc to my 99 LX 470. I'm feelin' pretty comfortable about the processes but can't find a definitive answer on if I need to re-gear the front or not.

I don't *think* I need to but was hoping someone with a little more experience knows for sure.

4.30 is the ratio iirc.

Any inisights?

Axle ratios stayed 4.30 for both axles till 2003 and above where it changed to 4.10 for both due to the new 5 speed transmission.
