I have a 1998 (Desert bronze)Landcruiser and I am trying to get a ballpark value on it. One of my co-workers has expressed an interest in it I would like to throw out a reasonable price. It has 65k and the usual options. I recently replaced the serpentine belt and the starter. Other than those two items the maintenance has been been routine. It is presently wearing Michelins, great tread, on Lexus chrome wheels and I have a the original alloys for winter. I haven't shopped it to dealers and I realize that our SUV's may not be the most popular choice at the moment. I welcome your thoughts:)

For the San Francisco North Bay area found private party values at ---
Condition Value
Excellent $20,015
Good $18,890
(Selected)
Fair $17,380
But you have to remember that your coming up on your timing belt replacement. you could always deduct that from the price to entice him some more if you really want to get rid of it. You can also try Craigs List for your area, or look up it at Kelly Blue Book for your ZIP code. Good luck, these things are dropping in value as gas goes up though.

65K miles on a 98 sounds like a great buy for someone. As to getting a reasonible price for you is another story!
