I searched and read for a while here... finally just going to post my question.
I am at the point of doing a major replacement of all fluids and since the coolant will be flushed and replaced I generally like to look at replacing heater hoses, rad hoses, the block heater as it weeps a bit and how about the water pump?
Best to use an OEM pump? Is it worth replacing or am I just going to be turning in a high quality original for some lower quality replacement casting?
I see many 3.4L 4runners advertised with "just replaced water pump" but how are the water pumps on the 2.7 L units?
Thanks for your suggestions, opinions and experience

Don't replace that water pump if it's not leaking. Inspect around it, and if you don't see any signs of leakage... you're good to go.

On 2.4 and 3.6 they general reccommend that you replace it every 100k. But if it is not making any noise or leaking I would inspect it and if it looks good dont replace it.

Napa sells good water pumps which are similar quality to OE

Thanks guys for the ideas.
It wasn't leaking and it is quiet when you spin it and smooth..so it stayed put..
