'95 LS400 fuel filter

Asking for a friend:

Where is the fuel filter, and how often should it be changed?

Friend says it's not listed under scheduled maintenance in the owner's manual. Does Toyota consider it a "lifetime" filter, only to be replaced if issues arise?

Yes it is supposed to be a lifetime part, but so is a 80 series filter. I plan on changing mine pretty soon. It is located just in front of the rear axle, right next to the fuel lines where they come through the pan.

I just picked up a taco head unit for the 80
