94 pickup - bumper advice

Hey all, have a 94 pickup and am looking to get the front bumper into good shape again. Its a stock chrome bumper but age is starting to show, and so is the rust. I was just going to buy a new stock bumper until I realized how expensive they are.

So, I am looking for options. Is it possible to strip all the chrome off and have it re-chromed, aka. dipped? Where can I get something like that done?

Should I scratch the chrome and just have the bumper poweder coated?

Anyone got a used bumper for that series pickup they don't need, either stock or AM?

I've got a nice chrome one but I'm in az you have to pay shiping it has a hi-lift jack mount on it too. I'm doin a sas and bending my self a tube bumper .
