The driver side power windows stop working. It seems to me like regulator is gone and it make a noise but won't go up or down. Any thoughts.

pop off the int trim panel and see if the regulator is moving the armature. the second will be to see if the armature is connected to the glass.

I took the panel out and regulator is not moving. When it was completely down I tried really hard to push it upwards and now the windows is up but make rattle noise.

Check to see if the window glass is seated correctly in the side channels. The glass shouldn't rattle.

In the case when the glass completely disengages from the track, it easily comes away from the channels.

bob,
the window should be sitting in a metal channel with soem felt like material directly on the glass between the steel channel. the regulator arm attaches to the lower channel. the glass sits in the upper.
if all your channels are correct and the regulator arm is in the lower channel chances are the motor is bad or possibly out of place. ive never seen a motor move out of place just saying its possible. disconnect the motor and try to engage it off a battery for testing purpose. while the motor is out you can check the regulator and linkage for binding.
this way you will isolate the problem.

I had similar problems, mine was the drivers master swtch, do you have a volt meter? see if the switch is even getting power to the motor
