my 93 half ton 4x4 has a very old and worn out engine and tranny. i have found an 80 f150 4x4 351/400 4-speed 4x4 for 1000 bucks that has been rebuilt recently, but the cab is hanging on by a thread. rust has the left side of the bench 4" lower than normal and it bounces, but the truck still runs and drives great.
my question is this--has anydody ever tried this or known of this being possible? i believe it is because i have a complete donor vehicle to work off of, but nobody i know has ever tried this.
also as another plus this 80 has a 6" suspension lift and 36" tires but i dont believe i will be wanting that.
