I have the rust beginning under the rear glass molding in the typical spot.
Can this be repaired without removing the molding/glass. I am going to attempt it. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks.
I was going to post a picture but that option seems to be disabled from my home computer. Several things don't seem to work right on this computer.

To do it right you really need to take the glass out as the rust may be well on it's way to doing a ton of unseen damage under the rubber gasket. If it looks bad on the outside it is worse on the inside. Plus there is water getting in there from somewhere and repairing the outside rust wont stop the water damage. Take out the glass and gasket, repair the rust and paint, get a new gasket and replace glass, polyurethane sealer on the glass side and paint side and it's good. It's pretty easy to get the gasket in with a stout length of rope.
