1992 FJ 80 bone stock original Texas truck.
144k on the clock. White gray cloth, (sheepskin seat covers), AC, cruise 3rd seats, sunroof, roof rack, rear heat. Original Texas vehicle; only in new England for 2 months. Absolutely rust free. I bought the truck from an owner who had barely driven it in the past few years.
Exterior is an 8.5/10; interior 8/10 with minor wear on driver's seat. 3rd row backs (luggage side) a little worn. Radio currently not work, but I have an extra Toyo radio I will include.
I have put a ton of money into the truck; including completely rebuilt front end including low mileage diff, birfs, new bearings fact rebuilt calipers, hoses, rotors pads all done by serious expert IH8mudder “Landtank”. Feel free to contact him. New OEM radiator, thermostat, water pump, hoses, Goodyear Wrangler 10.5-31-15’s AT's with just a few thousand miles on them, new rear wheel cyls, shoes and drums and master cylinder. New OEM starter, all fluids topped off.
Never towed but I have a class 3 hitch for it if we can come to an amiable deal.
Truck fully detailed in & out. Some minor oil on engine as can be expected from a 19 year old vehicle, but nothing significant, I have not steam cleaned it.
No worries about the onerous head gasket issue or pesky heater hoses with the 3FE motor. If you know these trucks you know these early trucks have the venerable simple time proven six cylinder from the FJ62 series.
Would make a great truck for a daily driver or at the beach or ski house.
You will not find a truck as rust free as this one anywhere in New England.
Clean Car Fax, although the driver’s fender and hood look like they have been painted, front bumper is slightly flat so looks like a fender bender. All panels are OEM parts and you can barely notice the work has been done. I have been using as a daily driver every day since I bought it. My situation has changed and I need to be doing a longer daily commute so I am driving my 100 series Landcruiser. I would prefer my son to drive a truck with airbags.
$9,650 ONO. Contact me for additional photos, info.
