Hi all,
I'm looking to sell my girlfriend's 1991 Land Cruiser.
Unfortunately, the front differential and the transmission are broken. The mechanic said it would cost $2400 with parts from a yard and labor, too much for me to consider. The interior is in great , clean condition, and the car runs.
Below is a list of the broken parts:
1. front differential
2. Transmission
3. Cracked front windshield
4. Cracked plastic intake into the air filter (this causes the car to almost loose the vacuum created in the air intake, but does not keep the car from running) This part is easily found at a junk yard.
The car is nearing 200,000 miles, and I would have kept it were it not for the transmission problem. It was a great car and I was hoping that it would have lasted longer. BTW, the a/c works great, so does cruise control, original radio. The color is gray exterior and gray cloth seats, interior.
I have seen the KBB value of a vehicle of same year with the mileage in fair condition for $3000, of course, I take into consideration the repair needed, so make me a best offer.
