91 honda civic wiring issues

i have not torn into it yet but will tommorow, blows the fuse to the brake lights(SLOWLY), no highbeams,nevertheless, has highbeams. when you hit the brake the door indicater light comes on the dash.should i shoot it now, any ideas

It sounds like a big mess of problems. Was this car in an accident?

well turn outthat there was a loose wire in the tailight area looked like it was a jumper AT one time. fuse was blowen under the hood, changed the bulbs and all seem well but the high beams which i believe is a relay.

yes a fender bender in the front

The high beams almost certainly have a relay that, based on everything else you described, could very well be fried. You might need an electoral diagram to find it, unless it's part of the fuse box.

You might also want to look for other possible grounds and connections that came loose as well. It's been a while since I worked on a honda, so I'm having a hard time remembering how they are wired.
