'83 Mazda B2000 engine swap....

It's my buddy's truck, and his engine just took a dump on him.

I've been doing some research and came across a guy saying that the 2.3L turbo SVO engine should bolt in....what say ye?

We've also been pondering V8 swaps. 5.0L (302), 350....

Does anyone have any experience with these trucks?

i'd be surprised if that SVO would bolt right in. but it might, I dont know.

I had a b2600 4x4 for several years. when my engine died, i considered swaps before eventually just doing a rebuild.
sadly, the 2600 was NOTHING like the 2000s and 2200s under the hood. so I only have minimal knowledge

back when i had mine, on the internet it seemed a lot of guys were dropping a GM 4.3's into those things.

If you're into trying crazy things, why not try to stick a mazda rotary engine in the thing.
