I have an 83 Fj 60 with a new venture 5 speed tranny and a chevy 305 V8.
This truck is sold as is, since it does not have emissions equipment.
I put about 11k into the truck. There is an issue in the fuel system that causes the truck to bog down on hot days or after driving for a while. I have had it in and out of shops, but the only remedy seems to be replacing the wiring harness or the fuel system. I can't afford to put any more money into the truck...
