I'm still going through all the fluids on my recently aquired LX450 and changing them out. Search function showed the 75w-90 per manual but I noticed some had used 80w-90. Both my differentials have new dino 80w-90 in them and I would like to keep everything the same if possible. For those of you running 80w-90 in the T-case have you had any issues? Any extra noise etc?

Thanks!

Let me say that it will work fine, but...the only place that I think synthetic fluids improve fuel economy (a tiny bit), is in the transfer case. So it's a good place to use 75W-90 synthetic gear oil. I use Mobil 1 or the Delo SynGear 75W-90. The Delo SynGear is an exceptional bargain at AutoZone, and is cheaper than most conventional fluids.

Thank you
