80 series for sale - 450 - want to sell! $9500 obo
I have a 97 LX450 for sale - has 114K miles on it currently. In perfect mechanical condition - I have most of the Lexus service receipts from the prior owners and the major services were completed at a Lexus dealership. Since I puchased it (at 106K miles) I have performed a complete knuckle rebuild (all OEM parts), complete tune up (all OEM again), and a full baseline of ALL fluids. I currently run Rotella 5-40 synthetic with either a Toy filter or a Napa Gold.
It has a CDL switch, HIR bulbs, aftermarket heated front seats (nice in winter!), new battery, new belts, rad cap, fuel filter, replaced PHH, and some nice Pioneer 6.5's in the front doors with some JBL tweeters on the door pillars. I only use Toyota parts and am very anal when it comes to maintenance and taking care of my vehicles. The cruiser performs perfectly - great AC and heat, CD changer works - no issues anywhere on the vehicle with the exception of the power antenna is up and stays up and I leave it that way.
Tires are Bridgestone Duelers with lots of tread left. Has the stiffer LC shocks instead of the factory soft Lexus ones so it rides nice and tight. I keep a very close eye on the coolant and it has never lost any at all and no oil burning.
The undercarriage is great with no rust at all. When I was purchasing I wanted one from the south and this one has no rust anywhere underneath. The leather does have some small cracks on the front seats but they are not ripped and I was going to re-do them eventually but never got around to it. There are a couple of small hail dents on the hood but they are hard to notice unless you are sitting in the drivers seat looking for them. Small dent on the RH side of the front bumper but doesn't look bad either. Paint is in very nice shape for a 1997. Clean inside and out.
Does not have the factory lockers. I am confident this has never been off road. I have an older Toyota PU I use for hunting that I tear up when needed.
I looked at a lot of these and this one fit the bill for me. Had most of the service records, was in good shape and has been a great vehicle for me but time to move on to another Toyota. I am wanting to get another Supra (had 3) is the reason for selling.
I am asking $10,900. KBB Good PP value is $11,380. Like I said, very clean, I have most all of the receipts, have the carfax and an autocheck, I have an excel spreadsheet showing all services I can email anyone and someone could pick it up and drive it with no worries because it is truly ready to go with nothing to be done to it. PM if you want more pictures, have questions, want more info or anything else.
NOTE: The center caps have been repainted in the picture and look much better than that.
