I'm selling custom Cup Holders for the 80 series. They will work in an LX and YOTA and for all 80's years. You can order them in two color options. I have the "Oak" color which is the brown color common in 80's and the Toyota Gray color that is the other common center console cover. I had 3 different designs availabe; you can get the single cupholder, the single with cell phone/storage tray, or the double cupholder. They all have slots for pens and are all made by my 3-D printer. You can order them off of my ETSY site. If it shows up on my ETSY page then they are in stock. As soon as they are out of stock then it automatically takes them off my page. I am not doing "print by order". I will only sell/ship what I have in stock. I don't want to get back ordered or have HUGE waits on these. This way I can ship within 24 hours of the order. Here's the link:

The double cup holder design is now sold out. They sold rather quick. I am already working on another batch and will have them up on ETSY Monday or Tuesday. The cup holder with cell tray design will also be available on Monday or Tuesday and the single cup design is available on ETSY now.

So I am heading to Hawaii tomorrow so I just updated ETSY with my last small batch of cup holders. I only have 2 of each style. If someone was planning on buying a cup holder or badge of any kind then they need to do that by tomorrow morning so I can drop it off at the post office on my way out of town. With a day of travel, 11 days on the Island, and another day of travel I will be gone for a total of 13 days. Any ordered that come in during that time will not get shipped until I return. I was hopeful my house sitters could help with shipping while I was gone so I could keep up with the orders, but that isn't working out.

I will be heading to the post office in the morning on my way to the airport. All orderes that came in over the weekend are ready to ship. I only have 2 single cup holders left. If anyone was planning on buying a single it needs to happen tonight or early am or you will need to wait 13 days.

Flying home today so I will get the printer up and going again soon and should have another good batch in the next 5-6 days.

I have had a few days of 24/7 printing and have another small batch ready to go on ETSY. All 3 style cupholders are once again in stock and I have my printer making more right now. I should have another batch up by the end of the week.

Just got another small batch up on ETSY. I was only able to make a couple of each style but I at least have everything in stock.

Just got a couple more cupholder up on ETSY so I'm no longer out of stock on the double and I have a few of the other styles as well. I do have another option for you folks on a budget. I tried a new type of filament. I have been trying to find ways to get the price on my cupholders down and I found some filament with good reviews for about 1/2 what I had been paying. Well..... you get what you pay for. I ran a double cup holder and a cup holder with cell tray and they both turned out a little rough and slightly warped. I tried using the new filament on shorter prints (the black inserts) and it still printed rough. I used the temp and speed settings that the manufacturer suggested and it just didn't compare to the PRO grade I have been using. After lots sanding, acetone bath, more sanding, and painting they look pretty good but not perfect. They do not meet my standards so I can't sell them on ETSY, but if your interested then let me know. I will not be using that brand filament again. The double will be $45 and the single with cell tray will be $35. That will include priority 3 day shipping. Those prices almost cover the cost of the plastic and shipping. I'm just writing them off as a prototype/lesson learned. I already test fit them and they fit and function perfectly. They look pretty good but I just can't spend 2 hours+ trying to make my cupholders look good. They need to look good right off the printer and this new filament just can't do that on these long prints. Just shoot me a PM if you want one of these prototypes. First come, first serve. I can have them in the mail first thing in the morning.

Got another batch up on ETSY today. I have two double and single with cell tray and 3 singles. The ETSY link is in my sig below.

the double cup holder prototype that I had is gone but I still have the prototype of the cup holder with cellphone Tray. it is $30 and that includes shipping. It looks pretty good fits fine, functions fine, but its not perfect. I am also working on another batch and I should have up this weekend. I hope to have two or three double cup holders and two or three cup holders with cell Tray.

Just got a couple more double cup holders and cupholder with cell tray up on ETSY. I also have the cupholder with cell tray prototype available.

The two prototypes I had are now gone. The perfect cupholder with cell tray print sold last night. While cleaning out my garage this morning I did come across another cupholder with cell tray that is perfect. I had thought I was one short but after looking for a while I gave up and just assumed I had miscounted. Apparently I had not so the last cup holder with cell tray is now on ETSY. Please don't bug me to make any more. The amount of gray hair on my head has trippled from this stupid design. The only way I will be bringing it back is if a new type of filament comes onto the market that has no warping or cracking issues but can also accept sanding and painting. For now I will be focussing all my energy on the double and single cupholders.

Last heads up. I still have one cupholder with cell tray. I will not be making any more so the single one I have on ETSY is the last one.

Got a small batch up on ETSY and ready to ship.

It looks like I'm getting another printer. The one I have been eyeballing for a few months is now coming down rapidly in price. The little bit i have been putting aside is getting really close to what they cost. I hope to get it ordered in September. That will allow me to double production and hopefully allow me to move on to all my other projects. I will leave my original printer dedicated to the TEQ badges and cupholders and the new one will focus on the "TOYOTA" badges, rear cupholders, and a few other goodies. Also, I just got another batch up on ETSY. I have the single and double in stock again. Still have the final cupholder with cell tray up on ETSY. This one is a perfected one and not a prototype. All the prototypes are gone except for the few I kept for some local 80 guys.

This morning I removed the last double off my printer. I now have a "toyota" grille badge prototype on the printer now. I will get back to making the cupholders after I get these next 2 projects up and selling. What I have left on etsy is it for a while.

I have been getting some emails and PM's regarding me stopping production on the cup holders. That is correct; I have stopped production on the cupholders but not indefinitely. I apologize for the confusion. Once I get the FJ40 TEQ badge for the FJ40 guys up and selling and the "TOYOTA" grille badges up and selling then I will return to the cupholders. It may be a few weeks or at worst case scenario; a few months. I am not quite sure how long the "TOYOTA" grille badges are going to take me. I have stopped making the cupholders for now, BUT I still have them in stock on ETSY. I finished the last batch over the weekend and everything I have in stock is now on ETSY.

I finished up the FJ40 and fj55 Teq badges and am just finishing up the aesthetics of the Toyota grille badges so my machine had some down time. I went ahead and made another small batch of double cup holders.they are on Etsy now.

I finally got some pics of my latest double cup prototype. I have still not been able to get 100% successful prints with the double cup holder. It is still a 20+ hour print and my machine just hates that. I get about a 25% failure rate which has eaten up any profit I may have had. Even the successful prints often needs a LOT of sanding and acetone work to get them looking good. I havn't lost money on these (like the cupholder with cell tray design) but I havn't made money either. I finally went back to the drawing board and tried to figure out how to get this print under 12 hours. 12 hours is the sweet spot to guarantee no warping, cracking, or rough surfaces. I could just crank up the speed to 100% and increase layer hegiht to like .5 or .6 but the finished product looks like crap. It dawned on me that my best option was a two piece double cup holder. I could print one half at a nice slow clean speed with thin layers and get that under 12 hours and then do the same to the other. So I went into a redesign and this is what I came up with. I have made 4 of these and all 4 turned out beautiful. 2 of these have already been shipped out to members and the other two are on ETSY now. For the first time I have had to do zero sanding. They come off the printer perfect. The only extra work is that I now have to do a double acetone bath. There is no more warping or cracking of any kind. The seam is completely gone after the second acetone bath and final coat of paint. I am very proud of this final design and feel I MIGHT actually make a profit. (fingers crossed). Here's some pics of the process. The first pic of the two pieces seperated is right after the first quick acetone boath. I use acetone on all ABS prints (even when the surface is smooth and not needed) to melt and bond on the layers together. It makes the part significantly stronger. I then push the two pieces together and the tabs hold it in place and then do another longer acetone bath. This melts the seam and bonds the two halfs into one. After the final coat of paint I have a smooth single strong part.

I just got two more double cup holders up on ETSY ready to ship.
