80 series, 37 inch tires, what lift kit was used???

So my brother in law back in MO bought a 93, 80 series LC a few months ago and is planning on building it up. He was asking what lift kit people had used with 37" tires...I know a couple of you guys have built up rigs with 37's on them...so did you guys go with 2.5", 4" or larger lift kits?

Bigger questions are how will the truck be used and does he own a grinder and/or a sawzall?

He has quite a bit of experience wheeling jeeps. I recommended the 4" slee or OME so he could limit cutting and drive angles, etc. Not sure how its going to be used. He will likely trailer it to trailheads...but I could be wrong!
