Posting up in Bluff City as we’ve got people across the state! Music City Cruisers only has an IG page at the moment. Getting our 80 Bruce back in shape for a run in a month. Pulling the axle for easier access to some rusty brake lines, rebuild and clean up front axle and cleaning up the interior from years of not using. 6 weeks.

Since she started it here, I'll run with it..

Saturday morning started with stripping the interior to pressure wash the grungy carpets that have 10 years of gunk on them and more recently had served as a pee mat for the mice.

He gutted and the carpets have the first pressure wash over and are drying to see what happens next. Likely some carpet cleaner, another round with the washer before going back in.

After that I started taking things off to free the old HP8 out front. Thankfully everything came loose without much fuss. I cut the old frame to axle line since it is getting replaced anyway.

Axle is out and ready to tractor out into the yard for pressure washing before I start stripping it.

Got it on some take-off 80 rims to roll it out from under.

Pulled the Slee arms off to give them a clean and refresh. They feel like 50 lbs each.

And now I'm on step 6.

Tomorrow. Pressure washing the axle, and then starting to strip the knuckles and figuring out what all I have and what I need to order.
