Im interested. Boise Idaho. Will this be fully welded up or will we need to weld them together?

Thanks

Well, I'm a little concerned about my dusty welding skills when it comes to a project like this, but I'm interested too depending on the price.

I'm in the Bay Area too, so combining shipping would be good for me.

I'm anxious to see the price as well. Hoping to get a couple locals to get one to help with freight.

I was trying to keep in mind those DIY skills during the design, I added keying features where ever I could to minimize the need for fancy clamps and 5 hands. on the prototypes I lined it up on a table, took some diagonal measurements and tacked it together then put it on the truck and tacked the brackets in place, pulled it off and burned everything in.. it didn't pull or twist weird at all. I had two clamps a spacer, tape measure, a square and the welder of course.. you will be fine

Is this a one-time deal?

Or will you be taking orders periodically and getting batches burned out at your shop every few weeks/months as the orders come in?

I'm interested, but the timing isn't right, I've other projects ahead of the 80.

Not sure at this point, I would like to sell them periodically or through a shop. that all depends on pricing and whatnot.

Interested ! Allthough you will have to put me on the "Europe" list, since my location is in Germany... Thanks for the good work !

Interested. That bumper looks like the oem spare fits well. Looks like a trailer hitch will fit under the bumper too.

Spare fits well and it will work with a hitch. with some slight modification you could use a hitch from Slee also to gain the departure angle..

Have you given anymore thought to selling the plans to make the bumper?
You seem to have serious skill with that CAD software. Make plans and templates in 3D CAD or something like that and sell the package.
It's gotta be easier all the way around. Getting the steel bumper pieces cut, boxed, and then shipped around the country will deter some customers..... IMO.

Thanks for the update on this!

I agree with PDoyle ! Especially for the interessees abroad it would much preferable to buy the plans. I for me would prefer to pay you $400 and get the plans, rather than $400 for the steel and $700 for the shipping. And you would make a much better profit margin ;). Problem I guess is with the copyright...you never know who you can trust... But I would be very interested !
