Any idea what shipping will be to Europe?

Still interested. The original drawings show recovery points. The pics of the prototype do not and it doesn't look like they are in the parts list unless they are integral to one of the pieces. Have the recovery points been eliminated?

I apologize if this has been answered. At 13 pages strong it's easy to miss things.

The Kit Includes:

8 bracket pieces
-2 for the rear of the frame, one each side
-6 to support the wings, 3 each side
-- 2 weld together to make the brace one welds to the bumper.- per side

7 pieces for the bumper shell
-2 wing caps, one per side this is at the wheel well end
-2 corner caps
-2 wings, Right & left side
-1 main bumper

**No swing out included in the kit.** there are knock outs where a spindle can be welded in for swing out of your own design. the hole is 1.75" in diameter.

4x4 labs swing out kits could probably be used, their Spindlea are 1.75 Diameter.

**2 recovery points included**

sorry i forgot about those but they were included in the drawing package that was sent out for quote..

Looking over the pics of the build again. They look great. Couple of more questions.

What do you think a welder would charge to weld this kit together?

You mentioned a trailer hitch would fit with some slight modification. Can you explain that a little more?

The spare tire can still be removed using the OEM jack handle correct?

Do the OEM mudflaps still fit?

Thanks.

- PM's replied to
- there are 9 on the list currently, if there are folks in your area on here catch up with them to get a group for shipping..

- Depends on the welder, and if you want them to do the grinding.. I took me an hour to weld up and a hour to grind roughly.. so i would plan on paying for 3 hours tops.. You could save on it if you grind it yourself, Grinding is worst part of any welding job..

-for a hitch, I think i may just add a cut out like the one for the spindles in the middle of the 4 bolt pattern, SLEE has a hitch that bolts in there. either knock it out or weld it up..

-Factory Spare works like Factory.

-OEM mudflaps.. i didn't have any and figured that others would ditch them. So fitting factory flaps would be up to you guys if that is the route you want to go.

mderrick,

Please take me off the interest list for now. The details look very good. Thanks for all the hard work.

Thanks, Jon

Would it be possible to sale the solidedge drawings so that we can have them made locally? i dont know how much your wanting to make off of the venture, but that would allow them to be made at any machine shop.

Most machine shops wouldn't be setup to produces these...requires a plasma/water/laser table as well as a brake. No machining involved really.
