I dont know what it is worth but buying a car from Slidell LA would make me very nervous. That thing was probably floating a few years back.

I thought that as well they guy says he is 100% sure it has never had damage.

Talked with him and he says he bought it from a family friend with 11 vehicles. in Nov '05 with 19K miles on it. It was several miles away from the lake and did not get damaged in any way. Guy is a toyota dealer and had it checked out by his service guys and the radiator was replaced then. Hummm.....

Wife says its up to me........

Did you pull the link?:grinpimp:

If you can get it for close to the price that is was at or even a little less then the buy it now, I would say you got a great deal.

WOW!!!! wife is going to be thrilled  considering the baby will be here on Tuesday!!!!!!

Congrats on the purchase! If it's half the truck it looks like, you got a steal...

Im from south LA and my truck is still good. A lot of people actually evacuated with their vehicles.

I am sure there are alopt of great vehicles from that area. I was just making a statement I know someone who got himself a car that had all kinds of problems bc of flood damage and I just wanted to make the point to be careful. The deal seemed almost to good to be true. Plus I do alot of work in New Orleans and what that storm did to that city is unbelievable, you dont get the real feeling from TV like you do driving through there where even still today has tons of condemmed (sp) areas.

Congrats matt!

Any plans for mods?

TBD.....

Wife is in the nesting stage so she isnt near as thrilled as I am. :bounce:

She asks...OK so what are we going to sell? I told her we will figure that out when I get it home. However I am leaning towards it replacing my 62 as I dont drive that much and it would keep the mileage low.

Mods will be planned either way. ARB bumper hopefully as soon as I can find one.

Want to get it back here so I can bring it up to the SHAMOM.

I know this all too well. I lived in Chalmette before the Hurricane.
