Sell or trade for diesel cruiser. 15k with 7 new Swampers, new canvas. Excellent condition inside and out with no rust, no dents. Runs great-17-18 mpg all the time. Factory hydraulic l selectable lockers on all three axles. Will trade for excellent rust free Cruiser. Must be a 4 door. No crap please.

just pm'd you about Pinz's and here you are selling one. write me off list with details, might be interested.

I take it that 15k is the price, not the mileage?

yes that's right

That being said, I am not selling it I don't think. I waffled back and forth but after taking it wheeling over vacation I think it will stay. Thanks, bryan

They are pretty resepectable off road. How is it for parts and maintenance? I looked at them before buying my 80. Obviously different applications...the Pinz wouldn't be ideal for a 12 hour family trip over the freeway.

It is really not too big of a deal for me. It isn't much more expensive than Cruiser parts but you need to be able to do the work yourself or live near a very open minded mechanic. I have had three and the only thing besides routine maintenance I have had to do is a clutch. It cost me 100 bucks to get it relined and I put it in by myself in the driveway in about two hours with no problem. I think they are really a pretty good daily driver for in town or short highway trips. I get about 17-20 mpg all the time and it is about 10 miles to town for me. If I lived in town I would definetely use it as a daily driver. My 60 got about 10 mpg all the time. I wouldn't want to go on a road trip with the family in it. Perhaps just me or a good buddy would be no problem.

That's pretty cool. I guess I'll leave the Pinz on my Christmas list.

pics just for fun?

Prices for these are all over the place but that one at outback is really high. I think you can get a nice one for 15k in the middle of the country. The 710s are a lot cheaper but I have had two and will never get a 4x4 again when the 6x6 is so much cooler. It is also a lot more stable and way more capable than the 4x4's with more room in the back. Basically, after taking mine on some pretty serious trails I have decided that it does better off road than anything I have ever had including my mog. The mog is just too damn big and doesn't steer too sharp. I love this thing and intend to get an ambulance box for it too so perhaps I can go camping in it. Bryan

I like the ambulance box / radio crew set up. Makes it off-road family friendly. It's interesting to me that these use birfs like the LC's.

thats good info, i have a 404 doka or a pinz in the future plans, leaning towards a 404 for the fact that its big because of its intended use for an expedition rig, but there is something sweet about a 6x6 for sure:cool: until then im looking forward to finding the right LC

Pinz, mogs.volvos

6x6 Pinzy...
I have to agree with the Mog being to big offroad. I ave owned a 404 and good friend has the modern U1300 - its a beast - they use it for everything from plowing, hauling caliche (three way dump), and moving heavy trailers. I had a 4x4 Pinz and found it to be unstable, especially onroad upon heavy braking. I own a couple Volvo C303's now and think they are amazing. Water cooled 130hp straight six, top speed of almost 80mph - though happy at 65- 70, solid portal axles with vacuum lockers, extremely well engineered. The 6x6 Pinz is a heck of a platform as well. Its very dificult to find super clean Volvos like the Pinzys, the rust in Gothenburg is something else. 15k for your Pinz is a very fair deal. I love LC but its nice to see unique rigs on the trail.

Small world

Hey Bryan,

Yep, that's me. I've been lurkin' here for a long time, rarely post. I'll email you. I have some news on the diesel M37.
