Maybe move the backup lights to the tail gate or the bumper with a second set of white LED's inside the lift gate for load/unloading at night or when the RTT lower enclosure is deployed.....

I'll see what I can come up with.

Bolt-in can be replaced, weld-in not so easily and IMHO everything needs to be replaceable.

There ya go. Did you weld in the panel or bolt in the stock screw holes? I'll probably go with a one light stop/turn/tail and try to match the body contour lines.

That is not mine I saw it posted by Behemoth60 and liked the idea so I stole the picture. I have yet to do this myself. Being in school kind of limits my free time.
Personally I'd bolt it in so you can get to the wiring easier.

Starting to plan a diesel 60 overlander......

Has anyone made steel tail lamp cover plates, cut to accept oblong LED stop/tail/turn lights? Looks simple enough, just didn't want to re-invent the wheel.

What - miss out on the fun of picking up all the pieces in the trail behind you and then epoxy them back together?? SOR has "make an offer" clearance on tail light lenses right now, I just ordered some this morning.

Re-gluing only works for the first 3 "oops".

I've learned from my 40 that stock tail lights and wheel'n don't mix . Wish I could give my spotter credit, but it was ALLLLLLLL driver :hillbilly:. Now when I back into crap the LED pushes into the cab and it's a 2 minute fix....... assumeing the hole in the quarter panel is still round.
