can you give us more info on the 12ht. Compression numbers, blowing smoke, turbo condition, mileage...
essentially, why does it need a rebuild?

This 12HT has done 317000km,it requires a rebuild because it has developed a knock in the bottom end, sorry i don't have the equipment to do a compression test,as for smoke it blew some on cold start up (blue) and once at running temp would blow minor black smoke related to the need for injector/pump service.The TURBO should be ok as it was rebuilt about 20000km ago.
This belonged to a friend of mine who gave it to his son for the last 20000km of its life and after a perfect service history it was neglected a little.I bought it 6 months ago to use as spares for my HJ61,but its time to make some room in the shed for another project.
