You’re documenting it, and I’m having extreme envy. Thanks.
Very close to yours. Keep in mind I didn’t have a welder yet 😁.

Ah ha. Not sure how I missed this in your thread. Same approach, but you changed the angle on the console mount and I changed it on the receiving end. Good to see I’m going in the right direction here. Appreciate your response Dave.

Documenting the final steps installing the Cruiser Crap console into a late 60 (higher factory mounting points)

^^^
Are we crazy or what? We get excited over a bulb lighting up! I’m right there with you tho.

Good job!

Absolutely John. It’s bothered me since last year that the indicators have not been working. Still have a bit of work to get the front one to work. Soon enough :).
The evolution of this cracks me up. I'm over here proud of myself for putting some new coolant hoses on my mostly stock '85 and you're excited about making a light come on from a truck you built from the ground up by assembling parts from about 7 different vehicles.

So true Ben. Evolution sums this truck up. I guess it’s been through several iterations. Like I once heard a guy say…”I don’t work on this truck, it’s working on me” :). I think this resonates with most of us here.

What’s cool is every thing I tackle, I keep learning something new (to me) which keeps this old dude entertained.

These rigs, their problems, and the occasional small victories really keep me sane.

I've learned over my short time that it really is the never ending learning and growing that happens when you own one (or two) of these rigs that keeps me engaged. Its an adult version of a toy model that is never quite finished. Zen and the art of cruiser maintenance ;)

Sounds like I need some Barn Time!

No updates. Just realized I had this video redeeming myself from last years failed attempt. And yes…lockers do make a difference :). Can’t believe I waited 3 years to put this set under my truck.

Damn, would’ve loved to wheel with y’all on that trip and see that in person.

Now we need to take it on some trails that actually need a front locker! 😁

So I’m doing a small punch list for SAS6. Stripes, ceramic window tint, new rear shock crossmember and fluid change. Does anyone know where I can find a 48+ inch roll of the correct color (like my brothers white 60)? I want it in the 7-7.5” width. This roll I bought online (Fastdecals.com) does not have the correct color orange). I like the pattern and placement, just need to find something that looks Toyota vs Southwest Airlines. Ma man Casey @POTATO LAUNCHER called that out right away :).
May drop a pic on IG and see what I can find as well.
