Old on passenger side, 4 runner on driver side, Just to show comparison. I’ve installed 2left hand arms as prescribed.
Used yesterday after the car wash to test them out. So much better than OME.
Now if we only got some rain in SOCAL.

hey @boerboel313 you still have any of those left to sell? About to do this upgrade myself.
I have 2 pair of left hand arms. Ive cleaned and painted them with flat black.

The real reason you do this is that the springs in your 30 year old wiper arms are tired and new arms = new springs. I bought 2 brand new 4R left-side arms and they stick to the glass and wipe a lot better.
Has anyone found any more modern arms that will work with our Land Cruisers, just out fo curiosity?

@BMValentine I just put some wiper arms from a *gasp* Pathfinder 2002-2004 X-Terra onto my 62. They fit perfectly and look very much like the 4Runner arms. $10 each at the Pick-n-Pull.[/S]

Just to let you all know that I've sold all 4 pair that I had. If you are interested in a pair, PM me snd ill keep a running list and contact you once I've sourced additional arms.
Since this thread has made a re-appearance, I should maybe add that I was at the pick-a-part the other day and I realized that I actually took my arms (the ones in the pic above) from a 2002-2004 X-Terra, not a Pathfinder as I'd originally said (sorry!). If you hunt around the yard a bit, you can probably get two arms and some good-condition blades for less than the price of a set of new blades.

On my trip to the junk yard it looked to me like a lot of Japanese cars had NWB wiper arms.

They’re covered in snow right now but I’ll check next time I’m out working on the thing.
Maybe I missed it but why use two left arms? Why not a left and and right .is there a difference between the arms?
