^^^ Check the connector for corrosion and how much voltage is going into the motor at high speed, you might want to try and jump it straight to the battery and see if the motor speeds up. @Stridertexas

arms are not splined, but work great and no slip noted.
Think the brushes in the wiper motor are going to need some attention
Just found out about this mod. Pretty cool. I have a line on some ‘99 4Runner arms. Will these work as well as the newer arms?
I think so. I got a set (2 drivers sides) from upullit. They work sweet!
I just wanted to confirm the year of 4Runner from which the wiper arms come.

Mine are from a 96 and work perfectly. Like @4Cruisers said, pretty much any from a late 2nd Gen 4runner should be fine (96-00).
Ok, just picked up 6 left handers from 96-00 4runnets at a you pick 40 miles from my house .
So, i have 4 arms, with nuts, and dust caps. Still all in really good condition.
Will take detailed picks when i get home.

They are installed .When you remove your old arm, leave the rubber boot that's on the spindle in place. When you slide the 4runner arm on it will be a nice snug fit .
The new nut which holds the arm to the spindle is the same thread pattern, and the metal washer is slightly larger in dia which is nice.
The dust caps click right on .

Yes you can. Same size threads, see my pic showing different size of metal washer . top 4 are from 4runner, bottom 2 are my 60's original .
Anyone who's interested, I'll sell a pair of two left handed arms for $45, encluding 2 nuts and 2 dust covers. Shipping is included to all lower 48 .
