Erik,

I have been all over the Marlin website and cannot find the info.

How did you hook your FJ6? together?

So now I'm thinking you are using a 700r4 instead of the 4l60e. I still can't find the right adapter on Marlins site. I will try and call them again.

Anybody know what years 5.7 chevys came with the 700r4?

I got your back.. Lemme save you some $ if this is what your gonna do.. The 203 is by far the cheapest and easiest to do behind a 4l60. I've been outta town a lot.. A LOT lately.. Just got in from the Rubithon then had to hit St Louis for an audit so no surfin for me lately..
What do you have now? What do you want out of it? If you go Auto with stuipd gears you can't stop the truck! Lemme know what you have now.. Parts? Goals? etc..
What tailshaft is on your tranny? Spline count and bolt pattern?

So are you 700R4 to toybox?

I've decided to punt on the 4L60E. With my luck the computer tranny would reboot half way up hells gate.

I have one 700r4 to toybox and one h41 (19spline) to toybox.
In english if you want to go 700r4 to toybox the 700r4 has a 4bolt output flange. I have a custom marlinized downey plate adapter that entails a new tail shaft of the 23spline female variety. To go 4l60 you need to convert from a normal 6 bolt tailshaft to the 700r4 4bolt then to the downey adapter then to the toybox. Kinda complicated thus the recommendation to the 203 which would be easier with a 700r4 or 4l60 as you would only need the tailshaft part to the tcase. Lemme know which route you wanna go and I'll help you out. I can easily come up with ideas to spend other peoples money!

I think I am leaning towards the H41. All these adapters give me a headache. I can buy a Toybox for $2000.00 and be done. If I go auto I would need the auto adapter and still have to buy a reduction box, 203 or toybox.

I have my scouts looking for a TBI 5.7 froma truck with a clutch.
