Hi everyone,
This truck was posted as a trade option back in April. It's now for sale outright. I am the second owner of this vehicle. I purchased it from the original owner in May of 2018. Its been garaged and professionally serviced during my ownership. Besides new michelin defenders in 2020 and Line-X earlier this year its essentially stock. In addition to the low milage, it is also exceptionally clean underneath. I have gone to a lot of trouble ensuring that the undercarriage would remain in the condition I purchased it in, which was practically new. I can go into detail with this with anyone who is interested, but I do think that you will not find a cleaner example of a Gen-1 Tundra in the midwest. I have all the service history, original documents, and original unused carpets. When I originally kicked around the idea of selling I was advised to sell on BaT. There was just one comparable sale, so pricing was difficult. Long story short I did list it on BaT and it was bid to $24,250, which was just short of my reserve. Most advice I was given predicted a sale in the high twenties, if not low thirties. I am someone who believes in market price, so whether I hit a slow day or not on the site does not matter. I think I was given too high of expectations on the sale and therefore made the reserve too high. I would have been fine with the price it was bid to so its a shame that it did not work out. I really love this truck, but it won't continue to work for my growing family, and its just too nice to turn into a spare work truck. Asking $24,000 for it.
