After looking this up, it states it is for 8/80-5/82 "pickup" --not specifically LHD or RHD, no specific market area. Upon looking at the diagrams it is the "chassis" trunk loom, not the entire vehicle loom. It appears it runs from the engine compartment down the RH side of the frame to the RH tail lamp and then across to the LH tail lamp. The "A" suffix in the part number may reference something specific--unknown.

Toyota has a lot of different looms for the 40 series with specific dates--likely due to the various different lamps, switches, and gizmos that vary from year to year. This one probably would work for most of the later pickups (1976-up) with a few adjustments.

This is my take--probably best to research a bit more if interested. An interesting "find" nearly 40 years later. Probably wasn't something stocked at your corner Toyota dealer back then.

Whats Golden about this YAZAKI Brand NOS harness is the 2 Female Rear Tail Lamp 6 Pin Connectors w/ the 2 locking Tabs , U can't source them New

anywhere on planet earth , Both @Coolerman & I have both tried Digging deep online into Southeast Asia and beyond

these also appear to have a rubber weather boot on them as well , AWESOME !



it should be mentioned coolerman has in stock the matching mating Male connector housing attached to the taillights them selves


It would be interesting if @FJ40GURU 's NOS Pickup harness could simply be coiled itself around once or twice and hence becomes FJ40 or FJ43 application Short in Length
