A Lot Of Talk Is Going On About The Expected Trd 4.0l Supercharger. For The More Experienced Powerplant Swappers, How About Putting The 4.7l V8 In, More Hp And Torque. However, Would Probably Have To Tow A 55 Gal Drum For Gas.

Trying to swap the 4.7L into the FJ would be tons of work. The 4.0 with a supercharger is going to be plenty fast.

And who cares about the TuRD supercharger anyways? They totally screwed the 3.4 and 4.7 superchargers up, why would they get it right this time?

Check out the 4.0 supercharger from Underdog Racing. They actually care if your care runs properly.

A buddy has the 4.7L in his 4Runner. He gets pretty much the same milage as I do in the Cruiser.;)

Greedy superchargers are good quality too.. but def URD makes some good stuff. I let them supercharge my Corolla XRS, man oh man... It was the first Greedy supercharged corolla XRS in the US, and they're just full of knowledge. Also they are they helped to supercharge the 1st corolla S with the Drive by wire system. In other words they know what they're doing.
